CAIRNCYBER ADVISORY

Brand & logo assets

The approved artwork for Cairn Cyber Advisory Ltd, with the rules that keep it recognisable. Take what you need. No request required for factual use such as a supplier record, a conference programme or an article about the practice.

The mark

Four stones, each meeting the next along a shared contact edge. A cairn is built by whoever passed before and maintained by whoever passes next, which is closer to security architecture than anything involving shields. Nothing overlaps and nothing is balanced precariously. That is deliberate, and it is why the facets should not be redrawn.

The lockup

The primary lockup places the mark to the left of a squared, left-aligned text block. Use the reversed version on anything darker than the slate midtones. The vector files carry outlined lettering, so they render correctly without the original font installed.

Colour

The palette is taken from the artwork rather than chosen alongside it. The two teals are the facets of the top stone; the slates are the lower stones. This website derives its entire theme from these values, which is why the deep teal exists: the highlight teal is too light to carry link text on a white background at WCAG AA.

Using it

Please do

  • Keep clear space around the lockup of at least the height of the top stone on every side.
  • Reproduce the lockup at 120px wide or more on screen, and 30mm or more in print. Below that, use the mark on its own.
  • Use the vector files wherever the medium supports them.
  • Place the lockup on a plain background, or on an image area quiet enough for the lettering to hold its contrast.

Please do not

  • Recolour, regenerate or redraw the stones, or restyle the facets.
  • Stretch, rotate, outline, or add effects such as shadows or glows.
  • Set the name in a different typeface, or rebuild the lockup by hand.
  • Use the mark or name in a way that implies endorsement, partnership or a client relationship that does not exist.
